JOHN SHIMKUS IS RECOGNIZED BY LEADING ORGANIZATIONS AS A FIGHTER FOR OUR ILLINOIS VALUES IN CONGRESS. GET INFORMED ABOUT WHO’S ENDORSING JOHN!

Taxes

The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act created relief for families all across America. Middle-class Illinoisans deserve to keep their hard-earned money, not send it to Washington.

John is ready to build on the successes of tax reform by making our relief permanent, and further simplifying the tax code. It is unacceptable that the tax code is so complex that businesses and individuals must pay for services just to complete their taxes. It’s time for a simpler, fairer, and flatter tax code, one that is easy to understand and will not cost businesses and individuals time and resources to complete.

John has supported efforts to reduce the number of tax brackets to reduce rates and end the federal estate tax.

Did I somehow stumble onto a church's facebook page? I thought this was a political page.

Why is the Congressman unconstitutionally blocking constituents on his Facebook page?
